Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together
How we get started
1
Discovery call
The discovery call is a short initial consultation that allows the clinician to learn about a potential client’s health concerns and goals, familiarize the potential client with the clinician’s Functional approach, and determine if the potential client is a good fit for the clinician’s services.
2
Premier case review
Premier Case Review, are series of two one-hour sessions designed to thoroughly assess their case and provide actionable recommendations for moving forward... The very first session in this process is a dedicated health history intake session. And so prior to this intake session, what will happen is you’ll fill out a e detailed intake form. After that health history session, we’re going to ask you to gather a little bit of information for us. So we’re going to have you do just a few days of food mood poop journaling. We’re also going to have you fill out a supplement tracker just so we’re familiar with any supplements or medications that you’re currently taking. And then we’d love to see any recent lab work that you have. So like a CBC with differential that you can get from your general doctor, that’s what we’d want to start with.
3
Nutrition counseling session
After completing the Premier Case Review I will be more informed and prepared to support you through continuing Nutrition Counseling sessions. It’s in these continuing sessions that we can work more deeply together to shift the terrain of your overall health. .

FAQs
What is functional nutrition, and how is it different from traditional nutrition counseling??
.Functional nutrition takes a personalized and holistic approach to health. Instead of focusing solely on managing symptoms, it seeks to uncover and address the root causes of health challenges. This approach considers factors like diet, lifestyle, stress, and environmental influences to create sustainable wellness solutions tailored to your unique needs.
Who can benefit from functional nutrition counseling??
Functional nutrition is for anyone looking to improve their health, whether you’re dealing with chronic illness, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, stress, or simply seeking to optimize your well-being. It’s also ideal for those who want to understand their body better and develop sustainable habits for long-term health.
Can I work with you if I’m on medication or seeing other healthcare providers?
Absolutely. Functional nutrition complements conventional medical care, and I’m happy to collaborate with your healthcare team to ensure a cohesive approach to your health and wellness.
How long does it take to see results?
Every individual is different, and results depend on your unique goals, health history, and level of commitment. Some people notice changes within a few weeks, while others may take a few months to experience significant improvements. Functional nutrition is about sustainable, long-term healing rather than quick fixes.
Do you accept insurance?
Currently, my services are private-pay and not covered by insurance. However, I’m happy to provide documentation if you’d like to submit it for reimbursement through your health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA).
